Privacy Policy

Short version: this is a reading site. We collect as little as a website can reasonably collect, and we sell none of it.

What is collected

Standard server logs — the page requested, a timestamp, a referring address, a browser identification string and a truncated network address. These exist to keep the site running and to understand roughly which pages are read. If you send an email, we hold that message and your address for as long as the correspondence is useful.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or profiling cookies. If any aggregate analytics are used, they are configured to report visits in the aggregate rather than to build a profile of an individual reader.

What is never done

Your data is not sold, rented, traded or handed to advertising networks or data brokers. There is no account system, so there is no account data.

Opting out

Blocking cookies and scripts in your browser will not prevent you from reading anything here. To have an email exchange deleted from our records, write to editor@gridironkingsat.com and it will be removed.

External sites

Where a page mentions a hotel, that hotel's own site operates under its own policy, not this one.
